Valentine is the owner of Eden West Gourmet! She took over the business, which has been running for over 10 years, in February 2020. This store is a gourmet food store, providing unique ingredients and gadgets for the kitchen. They also create gourmet food baskets that are very popular too! Valentine is passionate about food and sharing it with others. She had been running cooking classes all over the place for about 5 years, and Eden West Gourmet was a great opportunity to settle into a place she could call her own! 
Another fantastic thing Eden West Gourmet provides is hosting cooking demonstrations! This happens a few times a week, where the guests get the whole experience of having a full meal, prepared live by a professional Chef! Some events at this amazing store are also hands-on! With this pandemic, an alternative is classes hosted online, which have quickly become popular! Valentine hosts some of the cooking classes, and guest Chefs from everywhere come to host as well! This is one of her very favourite parts of Eden West Gourmet – watching the attendees’ enthusiasm and the fun they have!
Valentine runs the business with a small but great team of employees! Michele C., who had been working for Eden West Gourmet for many years already, is still working alongside Valentine today, so she is definitely Valentine’s number one employee! Michele C. knows everything about the products, the regular clients and so much more! There are also part time helpers who assist during the events – Michelle S., Sarah, and Rosa! The best part of the business is the people! Valentine gets to speak to real “foodies” all the time, and also gets to share some kitchen adventures with them!
The support that Eden West Gourmet has received during the lockdown was amazing! An online store was started with store front pickup, and it really took off! Eden West Gourmet customers genuinely wanted to help and support local businesses, and Valentine is so grateful for that!
